Nov. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad predicted the collapse of Israel, the U.S. and Britain, attacking what he called their ``oppressive behavior.''

``The Zionist regime is on a steep downhill towards collapse and disgrace,'' Ahmandinejad told supporters at a rally of Basiji militia forces near Tehran today. WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Rep. Charles Rangel introduced a bill in Congress Tuesday to reinstate the military draft, saying fighting forces should more closely reflect the economic makeup of the nation.

"Those who love this country have a patriotic obligation to defend this country," Rangel said. "For those who say the poor fight better, I say give the rich a chance."

Kerry and Charles still continue to beat the drum that the disadvantaged and stupid are the ones fighting our wars.......perhaps they should view the military statistics of our fine men fighting abroad. THESE TWO ARE STUPID BIG MOUTHS WHO CONTINUALLY USE THE LIBERAL SCARE TACTICS TO TRY AND MAKE A POINT. A DULL ONE AT THAT!

Americans better wake up and look at who they are putting in office.

"Not in the least," Kerry, the Democratic presidential nominee in said when asked if the furor over his comment had caused him to reconsider a 2008 race. "The parlor game of who's up, who's down, today or tomorrow, if I listened to that stuff, I would never have won the nomination."

Washington, DC - Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) questioned soon-to-be House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-CA) commitment to eradicating corruption with her endorsement of one of the most unethical members in Congress, Rep. John Murtha (D-PA), to be Majority Leader of the House of Representatives.

Al Qaeda gloats over Rumsfeld By Claudia Parsons

Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, also known as Abu Ayyub al-Masri, said in the recording posted on the Internet on Friday that the group had 12,000 armed fighters and 10,000 others waiting to be equipped to fight U.S. troops in Iraq.


"I tell the lame duck (U.S. administration) do not rush to escape as did your defense minister...stay on the battle ground," he said.


He said his group would not rest until it had blown up the presidential mansion in Washington.


"I swear by God we shall not rest from jihad until we...blow up the filthiest house known as the White House," the voice on the recording said.

Rangel, D-N.Y., was quoted in a Thursday article in The New York Times, saying: "Mississippi gets more than their fair share back in federal money, but who the hell wants to live in Mississippi?"

Ya, another fine example of our new leadership at work. It should be a very interesting two year years.....as libs continue to open their mouths and reveal their true character.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - President Jalal Talabani said Thursday that he had been assured by Democrat congressional leaders during a recent visit to Washington that they had no plans for a quick withdrawal of U.S. forces.

Unemployment is at 25 year lows.

Oil prices are plummeting.

A new direction from there means, what?



Taxes are at 20 year lows.

A new direction from there means, what?



Federal tax revenues are at all-time highs.

A new direction from there means, what?



The Federal deficit is down almost 50%, just as predicted over last year.

A new direction from there means. what?



Home valuations are up 200% over the past 3.5 years.

A new direction from there means, what?



Inflation is in check, hovering at 20 year lows.

A new direction from there means, what?



Not a single terrorist attack on US soil since 9/11/01.

A new direction from there means, what?



Osama bin Laden is living under a rock in a dark cave, having not surfaced in years, if he's alive at all, while 95% of Al Queda's top dogs are either dead or in custody, cooperating with US Intel.

A new direction from there means, what?



Several major terrorist attacks already thwarted by US and British Intel, including the recent planned attack involving 10 Jumbo Jets being exploded in mid-air over major US cities in order to celebrate the anniversary of the 9/11/01 attacks.

A new direction from there means, what?



Just as President Bush foretold us of on a number of occasions, Iraq was to be made "ground zero" for the war on terrorism -- and just as President Bush said they would, terrorist cells from all over the region are arriving from the shadows of their hiding places and flooding into Iraq in order to get their faces blown off by US Marines rather than boarding planes and heading to the United States to wage war on us here.

A new direction from there means, what?



Moreover, bear in mind that all of the above occurred in the face of the 1999 tech crash, the epidemic of corporate scandals throughout the 90's, and the 9/11/01 terrorist attacks on NYC years in the planning , which collectively sucked 24 trillions dollars and 7.8 million jobs out of the US economy even before G. W. Bush had time to unpack his suitcases in the White House. It's easy to attempt to discredit, disgrace and defame our commander in chief, George W. Bush; what's not so easy to do is to refute irrefutable facts, no matter how they might try.

Do yourself and this country of ours a favor and don't be a mindless sheep, bent on hate and blame-shifting simply in the name of hate and blame-shifting. Take heed of reality, use your head and do cast your vote wisely in the upcoming elections. The stakes are far too high today, as America 's very future, and yes, even its very survival is now at stake!

Yes, I said even our very survival is at stake.
