BAGHDAD, Iraq - President Jalal Talabani said Thursday that he had been assured by Democrat congressional leaders during a recent visit to Washington that they had no plans for a quick withdrawal of U.S. forces.

Then you should support the plan blindly like you did before.
nah.......I support the plan of using 21st century weapons and get the job done........I think I've stated previously my position on the Iraqi war....FIGHT IT TO WIN IT AND LEAVE..........
Unfortunately, too many people don't know how to win a war..winning a war is bloody, and there are a lot of innocent casualities......but in the long run......it's quick, efficient, and powerful....
If Bush had fought the war to win it.....the past election results would be very different.
I don't like our troops playing police........they are fighting men....let them have at it and come home!
You sound like a "cut-and-runner" to me. You are correct though. Either get a lot more troops in there to try to stop the civil war that could have possibly been prevented if Bush wasn't an idiot and he'd listened to Gen. Shinseki, or get the hell out.
