A NEW DIRECTION? LOL

"Who pays the price? I'm not going to pay a personal price," Boxer said. "My kids are too old, and my grandchild is too young."

Then, to Rice: "You're not going to pay a particular price, as I understand it, with an immediate family."

Breathtaking.

Simply breathtaking.

We scarcely know where to begin.

The junior senator from California ap parently believes that an accom plished, seasoned diplomat, a renowned scholar and an adviser to two presidents like Condoleezza Rice is not fully qualified to make policy at the highest levels of the American government because she is a single, childless woman.

THE ABOVE IS BOXER ATTACKING RICE DURING HEARING

THEN THERE IS PELOSI WHO EXEMPTS AMERICAN SAMOA FROM THE MINIMUM WAGE INCREASE....WHEN OTHER SMALLER ISLANDS ARE INCLUDED......GOOD IT BE THE STARKIST TUNA THAT GETS DELIVERED TO SAN FRANCISCO FROM SAMOA?

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM LET'S ASK CHARLEY

AND THEN THERE IS GEOFF EARLE'S ARTICLE ON RANGEL

January 12, 2007 -- WASHINGTON - Powerhouse New York Rep. Charles Rangel is butting heads with fellow Democrat Nancy Pelosi just a week into the new Congress controlled by their party, The Post has learned.

NEXT...........Ted Kennedy (abc news)ABC News' Teddy Davis Reports: MoveOn.org, a liberal advocacy organization, announced this morning that they are backing a bill by Sen. Ted Kennedy, D-Mass., to prohibit the Bush Administration from using federal funds to increase U.S. troops in Iraq beyond the levels there on Jan. 1 of this year without specific congressional approval.

"Senator Kennedy is providing the leadership on Iraq that the American people asked for in November," said Tom Matzzie, MoveOn's Washington Director.

YA, THIS IS A NEW DIRECTION..........AND IT WILL TAKE THE COUNTRY DOWN REAL FAST!

These liberals are nasty, show no respect, and let politics and the Cindy Sheehans of the world dictate their policy.....

ACTUALLY IT IS THESE ACTIONS AND BEHAVIORS THAT WILL MAKE 08 GREAT FOR THE REPUBLICANS.

Breathtaking, eh? Pointing out that those with no children in the war have less to lose than those who do is breathtaking to you? You have no child over there, Maddie. Therefore, you are gung-ho about sending troops in to die. After all, freedom's on the march, isn't that right? Plus, Dubya looked sooo sexy in that cod piece. Hell, I'll defend the war for that reason alone.

Boxer never said that Rice is not qualified to make policy, as you and the the other spinsters on the right are suggesting. Keep thinking that people will believe it though, and sit back comfortably until '08. We'll see if you are correct, or if it makes the GOP defeat in '06 seem minor.
