from The Center for Individual Freedom Website

Can it be true? Are more Americans murdered each year by illegal aliens than have died in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan combined?

You read that right. According to Rep. Steve King of Iowa:

12 Americans are murdered every day by illegal aliens.

Add it up. That's 4,380 per year! That's more than 21,900 murders by illegal aliens since September 11, 2001.

And that's not all. According to the same report, 13 people per day are killed by illegal alien drunk drivers.

That's an additional 4,745 premature deaths per year.

And liberals try to tell you that Iraq is a "quagmire."

If that still isn't enough to sicken you, King also reports that eight American children are molested by illegal aliens every day.

That's 2,920 innocent children annually whose lives are ruined each year -- by scum who wouldn't be prowling for American kids if the federal government enforced our immigration laws.

Yet, according to a recent front page story in the Washington Times, "Congress will approve an immigration bill that will grant citizenship rights to 20 million illegal aliens in the U.S. after Democrats take control next month."

We need to grab all 49 Republican senators by their lapels, shake them until their eyeballs rattle, and say through clenched teeth: SENATORS, NO AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS, PERIOD!

Your willingness to fight, to make your voice heard together with millions of other concerned Americans has beaten numerous amnesty proposals this year.

And it's apparent that the Congressional leadership did not get the message on November 7. We must ramp up the pressure now. We must tell the incoming Congress in no uncertain terms that Americans will not stand for amnesty for 12 to 20 millions illegal aliens.

Don't let pro-Amnesty Senators thumb their noses at the American people.

Use the hyperlink below to send a message to President Bush and the 49 GOP Senators of the new minority party. Remind them how they got there -- by being two-faced and duplicitous when it came to granting amnesty to over 12 million illegal aliens.

But also remind them that it only takes 40 Senators to STOP ANY LEGISLATION FROM EVER SEEING THE LIGHT OF DAY!

Tell them conservative Americans will not tolerate a go-along-to-get-along attitude. Remind them that when liberals were in the minority, they bit off ears, and gouged eyes and bloodied noses to stop legislation.

Demand that Republicans hang just as tough for the next two years and tell them that they must block any amnesty for illegal aliens.

A Stroll Down Memory Lane

Don't forget that Republicans in the Senate were hot to trot on amnesty when they were still in the majority. But they winked and wiggled and waffled when it came to building the 700-mile fence.

Instead, they promoted what they called "Comprehensive Immigration Reform" -- code words for "Come on over, the water's fine."

When it was obvious that a huge majority of the people wanted that fence -- and wanted it yesterday -- the Senate passed a bill authorizing $1.2 billion to construct it, and Americans heaved a sigh of relief...

... prematurely.

Because our lawmakers also gave themselves plenty of loopholes THAT ENSURED THE FENCE WOULD NEVER BE BUILT -- loopholes that would have ensured that the lion's share of the $1.2 billion could be spent on roads, technology and "tactical infrastructure."

They told each other that folks like you and me would never know, that we'd sit back in silence while they threw up a few miles of fence and plowed the rest of the $ 1.2 billion into welcome wagons for illegal aliens.

But they were wrong!

We got wind of this sickening deception, told you that this bill had more loopholes than a fat lady's corset, and within hours faxes in Senate offices began to spit out angry messages from conservatives.

And when Senators saw tons of your faxes coming through, they introduced yet another bill -- one with teeth in it -- and it passed by a lopsided majority.

My point: Show them your muscle -- show them you know the score -- and they'll listen.

Feel sorry for them... give in to their pleas... don't hold their feet to the fire... and amnesty will be the law of the land.

That's like saying more people have been murdered by black people than died on September 11th, so we should eliminate black people. That's absurd.

During 1995--1999, a total of 442,398 persons in the United States died prematurely each year as a result of smoking. – Center for Disease Control

Now commonly described as modern epidemics, overweight and obesity together represent the No. 2 preventable cause of death in the United States, second only to cigarette smoking. Today, nearly seven of every 10 U.S. adults are overweight, and about three of every 10 are obese. And among children, overweight and obesity are also rising at an alarming rate.

• Since 1991, the prevalence of obesity has increased 75 percent.
• Obesity has increased among every ethnic group.
• The estimated annual cost of obesity-related diseases in the United States is about $100 billion.

Stroke is our nation’s No. 3 killer and a leading cause of sever, long-term disability.

Now, it can reasonably be argued that the tobacco and fast food industries are killing more than 1 million people each year in the United States. Therefore, are you against the senseless killing of Americans, or are you simply against illegal aliens? I think it’s the second, which simply makes you Xenophobic. You see, you should be against drunk driving, not against illegal aliens drunk driving. The former makes you socially responsible; the latter makes you seem more concerned with the “illegal alien” part of the story than you are the “death” part. You seem to have ignored all of the legal citizens who kill other legal citizens, either by drunk driving or through murder.

What are you doing to stop tobacco and fast food from killing our citizens? Maybe you should go against the alcohol industry, as they have a part in all of the drunken driving deaths. Many of the GOP leaders will point out the advantages of having “cheap labor” (a buzz word for GOP leaders to avoid supporting the legalization of “illegal aliens”). Why support the GOP if they don’t share you views? Your boy Dubya wants to give them all amnesty, and the rest don’t really want to address the issue at all. That’s why they didn’t do a damn thing in the 12 years that they ran Congress, yet you still wave you idiot’s party flag while you bitch about the illegal aliens. Perhaps when we get hit by another terrorist strike with a weapon that was brought across the US-Mexico border you will blame them (I’m only joking….I know it will always be the fault of the Dems).

See Maddie, we all know you’re not relly smart enough to put these things together, which is why you consistently root for the same people who do nothing about the policies you abhor. As long as you think you don’t pay as much in taxes, you could care less, as you are a selfish ignoramus. To make things worse, you try to use this weak argument to dismiss the FACT that the situation in Iraq is indeed a “quagmire”. Please explain how the situation in Iraq is actually better then has been officially stated by the Iraq Study Group based on the contents of Rep. King’s comments. For the record, the ISG stated that the situation in Iraq as “grave and deteriorating”. Do you contest that?

Quick quiz for Maddie:

Who said the following?

“I, for one, am at the end of my rope when it comes to supporting a policy that has our soldiers patrolling the same streets in the same way, being blown up by the same bombs day after day. That is absurd. It may even be criminal. I cannot support that anymore.”

If the U.S. is ultimately going to retreat in Iraq, he said, “I would rather do it sooner than later. I am looking for answers, but the current course is unacceptable to this senator.”

Ooo ooo I know!! It's Sen. Gordon Smith (R-OR). I want to call him a Defeatocrat so bad, but he's in the GOP. What do I do? The talking points are not yet clear regarding who to smear on this one. I guess I'll fall back on the old standard.

Damn to hell, Bill Clinton!!!!
