Pat Buchanan: A man who Ran Before His Time

France has far-right leader Jean-Marie LeLe Penn of the National Front and once we had the chance at electing Republican Pat Buchanan. Both of these men were labeled extremists; but as border problems continue, their views have become palatable. Le Pen said he is convinced that what he described as a surge in support for his "zero immigration" platform would translate into votes at the ballot box for his National Front party.
French voters "are saying to themselves 'Le Pen was right. We were told that Le Pen is an extremist because he said that immigration problems would lead to disorder. The facts have shown that he was right,'" he said.

"Le Pen said people with immigrant backgrounds who commit crimes should be stripped of their French nationality and sent "back to their country of origin." (JOHN LEICESTER Associated Press Writer)

Pat Buchanan had several forward thinking beliefs and plans for the illegal immigrant problem
America is becoming Mexamerica. (Sep 2004)
Immigration tsunami will make whites a minority in US. (Oct 2002)
Terrorists are among us as undocumented immigrants. (Sep 2001)
Treat illegal immigration as an invasion & repel it. (Aug 1995)
Stop the invasion from the south; limit immigration. (Oct 2000)
Make English our official language. (Oct 2000)
Use troops on borders to limit immigration. (Oct 2000)
Teach new immigrants to be American & limit their numbers. (Aug 2000)
Vast majority wants border controls like Buchanan fence. (May 2000)
A million immigrants a year: “we’re gonna lose our country”. (May 2000)
Most pressing foreign policy crisis: illegal immigration. (Sep 1999)
Secure our porous borders; teach immigrants English. (Jun 1999)
Immigration “time out”; reduce to 250,000 per year. (May 1999)

In 1999 Buchanan was labeled an extremist, today even the French are considering the Buchanan type of immigration policy as workable.

FYI: I was and continue to remain a supporter of Pat Buchanan. He always received my primary vote.
