I'm predicting widespread support for Alito! I guess the map takes out the concept of "extreme" and replaces it with mainstream.

"But their main charge will be, as usual, that he is "out of the mainstream." In liberal media-speak, this means he is exactly the kind of judge who represents what the majority of Americans who elected the president want and will likely get. Once again, bad news for the left is good news for America. And, once again, Bush makes lemonade out of liberal sour grapes." - Lisa Fabrizio

No, Maddie - the main comment is that he's corrupt. You are aware, I hope, that he invested nearly half-a-mil in a company, and then (on the 3rd circuit) ruled in their favor - dispite his promise to the People of the US (in the Senate) to recuse himself in cases of this sort.

Now, you do remember what happens to people who break promises to the People of the US, n'est pas?

Maddie - Rein in the fake rabid dog - as I mentioned another comment, if you want a civil conversation toss the AlterWacko moniker and use your own tag.

To repeat, when a Judge swears to Congress that he will not take part in any cases dealing with a specific entity, and then not only takes part but rules in favor of that entity, that's corrupt. (It also happens to be Contempt of Congress to lie to Congress, but that's a different subject.)

So, how is this man not corrupt? If your AlterWacko is saying that it's the Republican right to appoint corrupt Justices, then say so. But do not lie by denying the facts, as that is morally corrupt.

The hearings don't even start for another two months, so why detail it now - there's plenty of time to do more investigation of his corruption, so let's check back on that after the New Year.

if there was a chance he was even slightly corrupt, the dems. would be on every network shouting it from the rooftops with their newfound "culture of corruption" motto.

According to the Casper (WY) Star-Tribune, apparently from your lips to God's ear - Alito's corruption writ large.

Be careful what you wish for...

I know I promised your blood-soaked hands that I would never return, but this was too on the money.

Good Night & Good Luck
