WAR ON TERRORISM

Ya, life in prison, at our expense.

That's winning the war on terrorism.

Kind of reminds me of our immigration problem.

Don't forget America,

"He Won"

"America Lost"

Chalk another 1 up to the terrorists. A loss for politically correct America, who treats illegals and terrorists better than it's own citizens.

If we are going to rid the world of terrorists....I say rid the world of them......don't keep them alive behind bars

The jury today decided that Moussaoui was guilty and suggested to the judge that he get life in prison, which is exactly to what Moussaoui was sentenced to. As Moussaoui entered the court room today he flashed the victory sign and acted giddidly and jubilantly. However, as the day continued, his demeanor dropped. Family members gave their final words, directly to Moussaoui. One of the departing words was from Rosmary Dillard, whose husband was killed at the attack on the Pentagon: "We watch you twiddle your beard, make faces and feel no remorse. I hope that you sit in that jail without seeing the sky, without seeing the sun, without any contact with the outside world." Judge Leonie Brinkima, when passing the sentence declared, ""You came here to be a martyr and die in a great big bang of glory, but to paraphrase the poet T.S. Eliot, instead you will die with a whimper."

As Moussaoui left the courtroom he declared, "America, you lost. I won." The judge replied, "In terms of winners and losers, it's quite clear who won yesterday and who lost yesterday." "That was my choice," Moussaoui snapped back. Judge Brinkima replied, "It was hardly your choice. The rest of your life you will spend in prison. You will never again get a chance to speak, and that is an appropriate and fair ending. This trial and this verdict are clear evidence of the enduring strength of this nation and its core values, which do not focus on hatred, bigotry and irrationality," she said.

Moussaoui will be sent to what is known as "Alcatraz of the Rockies." It is a super-maximum security prison where the inmates are confined to 23 hours of complete solitary confinement, every day for the rest of their life. They are alotted one hour to pace around a small, confined, heavily walled, heavily guarded, barred up courtyard. For the rest of Moussaoui's "life" the only human contact that he will ever have is with security officers who will not speak to him. The rest is confined to a 9' by 12' box with no one or nothing to do, to see, to speak to, or to say.

I believe that this was the best decision the jury could make. Moussaoui will suffer for the rest of his life, "living" a pointless life in America, with no purpose, doing nothing, and will die with a whimper. His goal of being able to kill Americans or die trying will never happen. Moussaoui has failed and America has won.
