United We Stand Divided We Fall

If only Dean would stop screaming at Republicans and take his fight to the real enemy, this world would be a lot more peaceful. I'm still trying to figure out why he would yell like that at white, christian people who all look alike....lol, I mean how scarey are we anyway? Dean (click on Dean)

"James Robbins of NRO http://www.nationalreview.com/robbins/robbins200506060801.asp makes the interesting point that Iraqis are more positive about the direction their country is going than Americans are about America. The point is that if we are going to have a public discussion of how the war is going or whether we should be optimistic about the future of Iraq (and I think we should be), our views should be based on something more substantial than off-the-cuff remarks by political spokesmen. It is understandable that news coverage will focus on violence, and administration critics will spin events as negatively as possible. But if solid majorities of Iraqis believe conditions are improving, I think we should take them at their word. They have a better grip on their own reality than we do. "
I do believe if the media and elected officials got behind our Country, even if they did not support the war fully, kept their mouths shut long enough so we could win this war, with the appearance of being united, our Country would have improved world image and be stronger for it. Hey, we might even win this war against terrorists. The Democrats just continue to wage war on Republicans and ignore the real enemy of our Country.

The Republicans constantly talk about moral values and the Bible. The Bible never once mentions gay marriage and Jesus Christ never once mentions gays in the Gospels. Yet Republican's cite attacking gay people as protecting "moral values." What about helping the poor. The Bible mentions the poor 3,000 times, yet the Republicans consider it more important to infringe on gay people's rights rather than look to eliminate poverty and assist the poor in this country. The Republicans aren't a Christian Party at all. At least, not in the way in which I see it is to be called a Christian.

from what you wrote in your last to postings it seems that republicans still have a prejudice view on the people who are not them. and like richard said the bible has never mentioned gays as evil people in the bible. the bible says that god loves all the people of the world, the bible talks of peace and love for one another not racism or prejudice against those who are different then you. hope you can learn to respect others.
